I don't need artschool

How are y'all doing ?

I thought It'd be fun if I try to write more journals about me and life and yadda yadda just so you guys know I'm still around and I'd like to be a bit more engaging here with my watchers. Sometimes I feel like I'm a ghost on dA, so gotta work on that right ? x)

So for some time now I planned to study animation on an artschool here in the Netherlands. Today I was invited to come and show my art and to come work on some projects they had in store for me there so they get to know what I can do and so they can see the way I think and whatnot. But after today I am not certain anymore if I'd like to go to that school, or any other art school for that matter.

I felt really embaressed showing my work (which is pretty much the same stuff I have here on deviantart) and in my opinion the people judging me and my work should've been a bit more respectful. I've always been kind of embaressed by the art I make towards people irl and it took a lot out of me to show it to them there. They just made me really insecure and I didn't tell them much further about me and my work. 

After today I started thinking I don't need artschool.
Art is something someone creates and improves on on their own, without a school telling you what they want.
So I think I'm better off by just improving by myself and study animation on my own ..

and hopefully I'll be able to become some kind of freelance artist one day. :^) Or maybe earn money with my own projects, that would be really cool. ~

So yeah for me it starts here on deviantART doing commissions haha. 
But for now it looks like I will be studying Communication and Multimedia design next year.

Thank you guys for supporting me though in any way and form ! Commissions or just by talking to me. I'd love to keep up doing art and to know people enjoy my work just motivates me to become better. Which is something everyone feels the same about I think.

I've got a lot of dreams ahead of me and I hope I can make them real one day.
